Dr. Ramasamy Dhamodharan, is a dedicated scientist with a strong background in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. He earned his Ph.D. from the ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre, affiliated with Pondicherry University, in 2009. With an M.Sc. in Life Sciences from Pondicherry University in 1999 and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Tagore Arts College in 1997, he has built a solid academic foundation. Dr. Dhamodharan has held various research positions, including his current role as an Assistant Professor at the Mahatma Gandhi Medical Advanced Research Institute, where he focuses on Microbiome research, Antimicrobial Resistance, Taxonogenomics, and Comparative Genomics. Prior to this, he worked as a Project Consultant at ICMR-National Institute of Epidemiology, investigating the transmission of infectious diseases. He has also served as a Principal Scientist at Avanzbio Pvt Ltd, concentrating on Infectious Diseases, Gut Microbiome, Environmental Microbiome, and Probiotics. His international experience includes Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions at Seoul National University in South Korea, Aix Marseille University in France, and Pusan National University in South Korea. His research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including infectious diseases, gene polymorphism, metagenomics, human microbiome, and comparative genomics. Dr Nihar Ranjan Jana
Nihar Ranjan Jana, born in 1965, did his graduation (Midnapore College) and post-graduation at Calcutta University, doctoral studies at the Visva-Bharati University and after securing a PhD in 1996, he completed his post-doctoral work at RIKEN Brain Science Institute, Japan.[2] On his return to India, he joined the National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) as a faculty member in 2001. He served as faculty at National Brain Research Centre up to May 2018 and then moved to IIT Kharagpur, where he joined as Professor in the School of Bioscience
He is known for his studies on E3 ubiquitin ligases, protein homeostasis and neurodegenerative disorders.
He is an elected fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India. The Department of Biotechnology of the Government of India awarded him the National Bioscience Award for Career Development, in 2008 and TATA Innovation Fellowship in 2014 for his contributions to Neurodegenerative diseases.
He is also an elected fellow of the West Bengal Academy of Science and Technology and in 2012, he received the VASVIK Industrial Research Award for what the award citation mentioned as pioneering work on Huntington’s disease

Dr. Suresh PS is currently working as an associate professor at the School of
Biotechnology, National Institute of Technology,Calicut. He received his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore, and JIPMER,
Puducherry, respectively. He was the best outgoing and university topper in both degrees and was awarded Dr. Ramani Pulimood and Satya Bhama Murali Rangarajan gold medals, respectively. He then successfully completed his Ph.D. in Reproductive Endocrinology and
Signal Transduction from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 2010 on endocrine
regulators of ovarian function in the monkey. In order to broaden his research experience, heworked as a postdoctoral research scientist in the Department of Pharmacology and
Toxicology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, USA, where he initiated studies on
endocrine pharmacology and began to understand how signalling pathways can affect anti-
estrogen therapy in breast cancer. He has worked as a post-doctoral research scientist in
Wexner Medical centre, Ohio State University, USA for a brief period and focused on liver
cancer and miRNA therapeutics. He has published 56 peer-reviewed research articles in
various internationally reputed journals, including Nature Medicine, Journal of Biological
Chemistry, Molecular Cancer Therapeutics, Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology, European
Journal of Cell Biology, etc., with a cumulative impact factor of 321.25, and presented papers
in national and international conferences. He was an invited speaker and delivered talks
nationally and internationally at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Biomedicine,
Germany, the University of Helsinki, Finland, Tokushima University, Japan, Medical College
of Wisconsin, USA; the Ohio State University; and the Wexner Cancer centre, USA. He is

Dr.Suresh Selvaraj is currently working as Assistant Professor, Health and Social Science Cluster in Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore. Completed his MBBS in 2007 in Coimbatore Medical College under Dr.MGR Medical University in Chennai. In 2011 he completed his MD in Anatomy in AIIMS, New Delhi.

Dr. Jamuna Aswathanarayan
Dr. Jamuna Aswathanarayan is an accomplished Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology at the School of Life Sciences, JSS Academy of Higher Education Research, Mysore, India. Dr. Jamuna Aswathanarayan has completed M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Mysore, India. She pursued her Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Ravishankar Rai V and her doctoral research was funded by NMPB, Govt of
India and ICMR. As an ICMR Senior Research Fellow and for doctoral research, she carried out studies on food safety, role of quorum sensing and biofilms in food-related bacteria and developed phytochemical based quorum-sensing inhibitors and anti-biofilm agents. She
completed her post-doctoral research in UGC sponsored University with Potential Excellence Project on synthesis and biological application of functionalized nanoparticles from University of Mysore. Her research included application of functionalized
nanomaterials and peptides as antimicrobials, biofilm inhibitors and anti-cancer agents. During her post-doctoral training, she was awarded Incoming Fellowship and had a brief stint at Cardiff University, UK and was trained in the field of metagenomics. She has authored 21 research articles and reviews and 18 book chapters; co-edited 6 books for CRC Press, USA and a book for Springer Nature Group. She has total citation of 1314 with h-index 11 and i-10 index of 12.Dr. Jamuna Aswathanarayan has received competitive grants and awards from IAFP and ICFMH to present her research findings at international conferences. In 2021, she was awarded the Interstellar Initiative Early Career Investigator award by New York Academy of Sciences and AMED, Japan to carry out research on Microbiome dysbiosis in lung cancer and its implications in CAR-T therapy in the field of healthy ageing and ongevity. Dr. Jamuna Aswathanarayan is actively involved in research and guidance, having supervised 20 PG students and currently guiding two Ph.D. students. She also contributes to the scientificcommunity as a reviewer for the European Journal of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
